To All,

Wow, those newly added shack photos are just incredible. As this settles
out I will be sure to have Wes view the new website and am certain it will
make him very pleased to see many of his products so well cared for and
operational. W9DYV will be 88 this December 7th and living at an assisted
center with his xyl Marge. This will be a nice surprise for them both.

I know a number of guys are experimenters so don't be shy about sending in
photos of your work as well. Often this kind of stuff is a
"work-in-progress" so a few wires and parts hanging here and there will only add to the
interest! Hopefully this new site will encourage us all to try new things
and to improve our experiences with the CE gear. Let's face it...a lot has
changed in 55+ years. Surely a few of us have thought about building a 30A
or a 300V, so why not share notes? I have two versions of a 2500L linear
built....one as a desktop using an 8877 (designed by me and Ron Scalise
WA5ZFP) and the other as a floor model (designed by me and Ted KN50) using a
single 3-1000 and a viewing window, of course. The 3-1000 amp isn't
finished as Hurricane Katrina and a divorce slowed that down, but it is getting
underway again.

I'll post pictures of them soon as well as a description of each.

73 Nick
