I have a CE-200V on the way to me. Operating condition is unknown, not been operated in over 35 years. Pictures appear to show it almost complete and fairly clean. It is clearly missing the audio limiter module although visually everything else on the transmitter appears to be present. Can't see in the picture whether the pin 2-6 jumper has been installed in lieu of the limiter or not. .
I know that the 200V can be run without the limiter with this jumper and that many in fact prefer to run it that way. But I would like to try to restore this 200V to include the limiter. Whether I'll actually use it with the limiter is another question. I would just like a limiter to make the transmitter complete. Does anyone have a spare? I'd also accept one for a 100V and make the necessary component changes to change the 6U8 to a 6BL8.
Due to the age and not having been operated in over 35 years, I'll first be installing a new set of PS caps from Nick Tusa before proceeding
with any operational checks.
I see there is a 100V/200V registry, I'm copying Bill Marx direct so he can add this 200V if he is still maintaining it.
Serial number E1002
I also have a Nick Tusa 160 meter kit on order to install once I have the 200V fully functional on all the other bands.
