[Central-Electronics] 100V R433A, what is it?

I'm mystified by a burned up part in my serial number 348 100V. My
100V has the mixer modification installed which puts pots on the first
and second mixer cathodes and on the second mixer (V13) screen. In my
manual that's called INSTALLING THE MIXER RHEOSTATS IN THE 100V,
January 1961. I believe later 100V's had these parts factory installed.
Old schematics do not show the pots, later ones do.
Well, things burned up really badly in there. R434 was burned to
oblivion. R435A was cooked and registered 10 Ohms, not 27K, and the
most mysterious one of them all, R433A was also burned to oblivion. I
suspect that R435A decided to be 10 Ohms instead of 27K and this set
off the chain of events.
When I retrieved the remains of R433A, the 1K resistor (4.7K 1W in
later models), I discovered that it wasn't just a resistor. There was
a fine coil wound around it like a little baby RF choke. The
schematic shows just a resistor. Do any of you know anything about
that?
