[Central-Electronics] CE 100V and TTY Loops?

Hi all,  I am just learning about the features of my 100V. I see there is an FSK input (two actually, one I think is polar and one I think is neutral).

Question #1: Can anyone tell me if all I need to do is plug my 60ma loop into the 100V to key the FSK?

Question #2: Do most of you fellows use the VOX control when keying in CW? In other words when you send the first dit or dah the 100V keys? I don't want QSK, but I do want the receiver to be disconnected from the antenna until some nice long waiting period after the last morse letter has been sent.

Or, do you use a foot switch of some kind?
