[Central-Electronics] 100V Oscillators drift

I'm trying to get to the root of my 100V frequency stability problems. My
earlier post about frequency hopping was in error, thank goodness. That would
have been weird. But there is what seems to me to be a lot of drift.
Driving my 100V with a very warmed up very stable signal generator instead of
the PTO the frequency drifted significantly for about an hour -- 228 Hz down
in one hour at rate that was still 2 Hz/minute after 50 minutes. Then it
settled down to about .5 Hz/minute for another hour and a half. That's when I
stopped testing. The signal generator contributed only 2 Hz to this over all
figure. This test on 3.895000 Mhz.
My questions are these: Is this a lot, or normal? Is an hour normal
warm-up for stability?
Aren't there some temperature compensating caps somewhere? In the PTO?
Are these meant to compensate for PTO warm-up drift or drift of the PTO and the
other two oscillators?
Thanks to those who have taken an interest.
