[Central-Electronics] Today's AC Mains voltage too high for many BA Rigs

Years ago one of the manufacturers used rotary inverters to supply all the
power to their test room. This was more for clean power than voltage
control. More recently, however, Honda is now marketing generators that
output dc and then use inverters to create ac. This is very efficient and
saves fuel at partial loads.

I expect that you will soon be able to purchase (or perhaps you can now),
inverters that automatically output a fixed voltage that is adjustable.
There ought to be a enough power to power all of the receivers and drivers
in your shack.

The other thing which can be done is move to the end of the mains line into
an old house with lousy wiring and the voltage will drop naturally if you
have enough boatanchors turned on.
