SUBJECT:
Citizens Asked to Report Damages from Tropical Storm Lee

SUMMARY:

For Immediate Release
Citizens Asked to Report Damages from Tropical Storm Lee

Charles County Government is asking citizens to call the Planning and Growth Management Department at 301-645-0692 or 301-645-
0700 to report non-insured flood-related damages from remnants of Tropical Storm Lee that impacted the county from Thursday,
September 8, through Sunday, September 11.
Planning and Growth Management staff will conduct inspections to assist the county with an application for Federal Emergency
Management Agency (FEMA) Individual Assistance and Small Business Association assistance programs. These programs are
designed to facilitate local homeowner and small business owner's disaster recovery.
Damage assessment teams are currently surveying the county. Reporting non-insured damages will assist them in focusing their
efforts in areas were damage has occurred.
