SUMMARY:
The following roads are prone to flooding and currently have standing water due to the heavy rainfall:
Valley Road
Mitchell Road
Turkey Hill Road
Bumpy Oak Road
Washington Avenue at Cecil and Talbot Streets
Bel Alton Newtowne Road (bottom of the hill)
Intersection of St. Charles Parkway and Smallwood Drive
Pinefield Road at Conduit Court (chest-high water; impassable)
Stein Store Road
Livingston Road
Newport Church Road at Penns Hill Road
Ripley Road 
Bowling Drive (trees blocking roadway)
Mt. Victoria Road at Wicomico View Farm Place.
Dutton’s Bridge on Billingsley Road - CLOSED

Motorists are urged to reduce speed and exercise extreme caution in anticipation of ponding water on roadways. Do not attempt to walk or wade through flowing water. Stay away from flooded roadways and plan ahead for alternate routes.
