[CC-ARES-RACES] Missed the July Membership Meeting

Sharon (KB3GHI) and I intended to make the membership meeting, however a
major malfunction at work caused Sharon to ride home alone and I was
fortunate enough to have my Son working nearby and he brought me home
later that evening.  I am behind on emails, and thus unaware of President
Rob's status.  I called him on his cell to advise him of my situation,
all the while thinking he is at the head of the table in a warm and
crowded Historic La Plata Train Station. Only after our greetings did I
learn that he is still in Utah.  We had a nice chat.
Sorry we could not attend. I had planned to discuss the upcoming Pandemic
Flu Drill at CMC.  Unsure if anyone is carrying this ball, however I want
to arrange with Mr. Hall (CMC Engineering Supervisor) my trip to the
Facility so that I can repair the PL259 connections on both coax runs. 
Details of the event are outlined in Wednesday's Maryland Independent. My
summary report regarding the CMC's Readiness for Amateur Radio Comms
noted a few items requiring some housekeeping, and also noted that some
terrific gear resides at CMC that requires a shakedown.
