Jim,
Thanks for the update, this is great news! We will all have to come
down soon and check-out the setup and put it on the air. Let me know if
you have a chance to operate the radio and if so, how it works. We could
use it during the monthly COMMEX and check-in to the HF net on 3.920.
Also feel free to put a request out on the reflector if you need any
help, I'm sure a few of us from the club would be glad to help.
Good to hear you on the net last week, sound's like you've been busy
with Scouts. The club is staying very active and productive, seems like
we always have something going on! Thanks a lot for your efforts on
this, I will make sure the section leadership knows about your efforts
in getting hospital on the air.
Take it easy and keep the updates coming, 73,
Rob - N2OMC

I know, you never thought it would happen. Next Wed. & Thur, the 28 &
29, the HF antenna will be installed on the roof of the hospital. The
coax will be routed to the Education Classroom where the UHF/VHF is
located.
Please contact me for any questions.
On behalf of Civista's Disaster Preparedness Team, I wish the thank all
the members of the Charles County ARES-RACES community for partnering
with us to provide communications during a disaster. Communications is
one of those items you take for granted until you don't have it. If we
have never voiced it, Thank You.
