CCARC,
Sounds like I missed a great party! Many thanks to
Lee for the nice write-up on the event, sounds like
the venue worked well and probably a good choice for
next year? I wanted to thank Gene for doing the
leg-work and getting the room set-up for us. Also many
thanks to Tom - W3TOM for the great door prizes from
the ARRL. Also to anybody else who brought items in,
not sure on the folks but I know Lee brought a couple
as well.
The next date on the calender will be the Jan meeting,
our first in 07. I am going to make this a planning /
brain-storming session to plan/discuss our events for
the year and also how to improve the club. I think 06
has been a very good year for CCARC and we can only
get better from here. It's like I always say, "if
you're board with Amateur Radio, don't blame the
club!"
As Lee mentioned in this email, the 07 convention is
being held in Southern MD and CCARC will most
certainly be involved as well as other clubs across
the section. There will be a lot of opportunity to
volunteer and participate so stay tuned for your
chance to get involved.
Everybody have a Merry Christmas and a healthy & safe
New Year. Hope Santa puts a new gadget or two under
the tree!
73,
Rob - N2OMC
