SKYWARN UPDATE - Contact Information
Chad Rudolph, W1CAR, is the new SKYWARN Amateur Radio Coordinator for the
Sterling, VA NWS office and has requested the below message be shared with
everyone interested in the SKYWARN program.

Anyone who wants to be added to the contact list for SKYWARN Spotters and/or
Net Controls...
Anyone who wants to be added to the contact list for WX4LWX Amateur Radio
Station operators...
Anyone who thinks they might be already listed, but isn't sure...
Anyone who thinks they are listed, but might need to update their
information...
Anyone else who might be interested in supporting SKYWARN, but aren't sure
how or where to start...
Anyone with questions about the program...concerns or problems with the
program in the past...
Anyone wishing to start up/support a new area SKYWARN Subnet...
Or anything else related to SKYWARN in this area...
Please send an email to me, Chad Rudolph, W1CAR at w1car at 147300.com or
chad at chadrudolph.com (if either of these bounce, send an email to
crudolph at starband.net) with your name, call sign, SKYWARN ID if you have
one, home location, email addresses, phone numbers, and any other way to
contact you in case we need your assistance for SKYWARN purposes only. The
information you send will be kept confidential and used only by myself or
the other Coordinators and/or NWS Staff.
I am the new SKYWARN Amateur Radio Coordinator for the Sterling, VA NWS
Office (Baltimore Washington, DC area) and I'm trying to get as broad a
picture of the current situation in the area as I can.
I will answer your emails in the order I receive them. I am very anxious to
gather a list of those interested in Net Control duties, WX4LWX Station
Operation duties, and anything else we can offer you in return for your
support for the SKYWARN program.
