Season's Greetings,
Anyone who has ever tried to learn code the hard way will tell you that it is easy to send and hard to take copy. And this is typically because that individual learned morse code letter-by-letter, instead of groups of letter/words/phrases. A great way to instill this simple theory on any prospective operator wishing to learn code, is to read the following.
yuo've pobralby snen tihs:
cdnuolt blveiee taht I cluod aulacity uesdnatnrd waht I was rdanieg. The phaonmneal pweor of the hmuan mnid. Aoccdrnig to a rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltters in a wrod are, the olny iprmoatnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be in the rghit pclae. The rset can be a taotl mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Amzanig huh? yaeh and I awlyas thought slpeling was ipmorantt! tahts so cool!!!
If you can udernatnsd thihs, tehn you get teh piont auobt CW.
This paragraph was shown to me recently, and I could not think of a better way to convince a budding CW enthusiast that our instructors, mentors, elmers, and friends are telling the truth.
