Subject: MD 18th Annual Severe Storms Conference, April 24th

This is a great one day conference that has always had a very interesting
general sesion and then an opportunity to attend breakout sessions following
the hosted lunch.  Please forward this to other Red Crossers and MD VOAD
organization members who may be interested.
Event starts at 9 am on April 24th at MEMA Emergency Operations Center
(great chance to see this "state of the art" facility).  The conference will
end around 3:00 PM.

MEMA is on MD Route 30 in Reisterstown, MD. Go North on I-795, Northwest
Expressway, to the end and follow signs toward Rt 30/Hanover, PA .  Once you
turn North on Rt 30 you go 1.9 miles and you will see yellow flashing
lights.  You will turn left there into Camp Fretterd Military Reservation.
The MEMA EOC is the first building on the left as you drive in. NOTE: be
prepared to show ID at the camp entrance and allow time to pass through
security checks and for sign-in procedures.  process should not take more
than a few minutes.

Registration is on a first come first serve basis and seating is limited so
do not delay. Deadline for registration is April 17th. Here is what to do:
