[CC-ARES-RACES] Ares/Races Team Net

This is a reminder of the weekly Ares/Races team net that takes place =
this Thursday, 3/27, 2000 on 145.390 with a PL of 186.2. All amateurs =
are welcome and encouraged to check in, you do not have to be an =
Ares/Races team member to check into the net.
Topics to be discussed on the net:
- A notification exercise involving contact of team members. The =
exercise will utilize the calling tree and will be initiated by the      =
     state
- Scheduling of additional Net Control stations for the Ares/Races team =
nets
- The next  team meeting will be held on 22 April. The Charles County =
Mobile Incident and Command Vehicle is scheduled to show up for a tour. =
The May meeting will be moved to the 28th due to the holiday and will be =
centered around packet. All hams are encouraged to bring any and all =
packet equipment to the meeting so we can inventory what we have, help =
get more stations up running and practice operating. This should prove =
to a fun and productive meeting!
- With the new OEP will come new entry control procedures. New badges =
will be issued only to trained Ares/Races team members for access to =
controlled areas during times of crisis. We should be starting the =
process of  assigning the new badges in the near future
- And last but not least, don't forget the hamfest/State Convention this =
weekend in Timonium. A full weekend of speakers and presentations are =
planned, hope to see you there!
