[CC-ARES-RACES] ARES/RACES MEETING TONIGHT

To all team members and those interested in ARES/RACES activities:

The Charles County Amateur Radio Emergency Service Team, will meet this =
evening TUESDAY JANUARY 28, 2003 at 7:00 p.m.

We will meet at the Charles County Government Building 200 Baltimore =
Street, La Plata, Maryland.  The Human Resources Training Room has been =
reserved for our meeting.

Our speaker this evening will be our own Jim Dunn W3JTD. He will be =
providing us with an update on the equipment installed at the Civista =
Medical Center. This will provide us with another link in the local and =
regional chain of emergency preparedness.  Kudos to Jim for all of his =
hard work on this project. Additional thanks to Dave Beckstein KA5AVH =
for his donation of equipment to place another digital station on the =
air.

The FEBRUARY 2003 meeting is being planned now. Hopefully, we will be =
able to tour our new quarters in the Office of Emergency Services on =
Audie Drive.

I hope the weather will cooperate with us and keep the ice and snow away =
until we are all safely home again.
