[CC-ARES-RACES] Oxon Hill Bike Club Support

I just wanted to thank the members that were able to provide support to =
the Oxon Hill Bike Club Century Ride yesterday. We met on the Village =
Green (Indian Head, Maryland) at 07:00 Sunday morning 9/9/02.  Rest stop =
assignments were handed out and we deployed.

The bikers totalled 332 and the weather was great.  You think your toys =
are expensive. You have no idea. We received many thanks from the many =
riders throughout the day.  It was a pleasure working alongside Tom =
Warren K3TW and the members of the Oxon Hill Bike Club. Rob N2OMC said =
he might try the 30 mile loop next time.

Rob Hoyt N2OMC, Jesse  Barton KC8ERP, Tom Warren K3TW and I staffed the =
local assignments.  Lee Flick N3YWZ maintained ANC duties during the =
event. This really helped out as breaks were needed throughout the day.  =
Many thanks to the members and trustee of the Blossom Point Amateur =
Radio Club, our own Art Audley AA3RT, for the use of their repeater.  It =
worked well throughout the entire event.  I am sure we will get asked =
again to provide support for this group.
