[CC-ARES-RACES] AMATEUR SUPPORT FOR BIKE RIDE

To all;  Tom Warren K3TW has asked the CCARC for amateur support for the =
Oxon Hill Bicycle Club's Indian Head 100 Bicycle Ride. This will be 100 =
miles in and around Indian Head, Maryland on Sunday September 8, 2002.  =
Communications at the rest stops will enhance the safety of the event. =
Over 300 cyclists are expected to participate.

I will be speaking with Tom Warren early this week to gather the late =
minute details.  I expect our support to very similar to the bike rides =
and walks we have supported in the past. I know this conflicts with the =
Hamfest in Howard County, but I am hopeful that those not going to the =
fest will help out with this event.  Please let me know if you are =
available to assist with this event. Please email me or call the house =
at 301-609-9298.  The voice mail will pick up after 5 rings or so.  =
