Did anybody see the comment in Smoke Signals about moving the EOC to the
new building on 15 November. No antennas allowed on the building. How
stupid can the county get. This hobby is overgrown with idiots who want you
to provide a service, but you have to do it without antennas. Do they think
the TV broadcasters spend all that money on towers and antennas just for
the hell of it. I've got a great idea, lets put all commercial transmitting
antennas at ten feet and see the wonderful coverage they get. Maybe our
illustrious president needs to take MR. MC GUIRE by his earlobe and explain
communications to him. Then he can explain it to the commissioners.
Unfotunately nobody wants to learn and nobody listens. Just give me the
service without antennas. I think I'll ride into the Sunset until somebody
has the guts to tell thes people you get what you pay for. NO ANTENNAS, NO
