Greetings again all...

     First of all, I'd like to thank everyone who supported my nomination for Activities Manager at the CCARC monthly election last (March 1st) Friday. I hope that I can live up to your expectations and line up some good speakers and interesting programs for the coming year. For those of you who were unable to attend last week's meeting I welcome your input. What would you like to see for programs/speakers in the coming year? Perhaps you have a particular interest or specialty within the realm of amateur radio that you'd like to share-or you know someone else who has a specialty that would be of interest to the membership. If so, please contact me and let me know your thoughts.

     I heard the suggestion of a construction project. Any input there? Would you like an easy, one night project or something that we could work on through the year? How many of know how to solder? And of those, how many can solder well? Maybe a simple soldering class would be in order. Again, I welcome your input.

     Finally-Field Day!!! I believe that Field Day will be June 29/30 this year. That means we have about 16 weeks to get ready. At last Friday's meeting we discussed the sites we've used in previous years with the pros and cons of each site. Lets start planning NOW so we don't end up scrambling at the last minute.
