F.A.R.Fest Now known as Fall-Fest 

In the past, the Foundation sponsored a hamfest, every year, known as F.A.R.Fest.

September 30, 2001, was the last year for F.A.R.Fest as it has been known. In 2002,
the Foundation is partnering with the Columbia Amateur Radio Association to present
Fall-Fest on Saturday and Sunday, September 7 - 8, 2002 at the Howard County
Fairgrounds. In addition to being the first event co-sposored with another
organization, Fall-Fest will also be the site of the MD/DC Section Convention.
