The March Of Dimes Walk-A-Thon will be taking place next Sunday, April
28.  I have a good list of people so far but I really could use a few
more. I would much rather have too many then too few.

There will be a need for members to staff the following positions: four
checkpoints, shadow, rover and net control. The walk sign up begins at
0800 with the walk starting at 0900. I would like everyone to be there
by 0745 to receive a briefing and report to assigned position and get
set up.

We will meet in the parking lot of the Charles County OEP building in La
Plata. Two meters will be used for communications during the event with
a talk in on the KA3GRW repeater on 443.700. The walk route is small and
an HT will be all that's needed. The walk is usually over by early
afternoon with a small meal to follow.

If anyone is interested in helping out, please reply or give me a call.
I look forward to a fun and successful event, another good community
support effort by the club.
