[CALV-AUXCOMM] July Meeting

Hey folks. If you weren't on the net last night, it has been decided, since
the tape measure yagi build didn't get much traction, we're not going to do
in person this month so please don't got to the Barstow PSB on Thursday the
16th. Instead, we'll do some type of net (maybe a simulated call up based
on the hurricane plan).

Also Shawn and I would like some feedback on maybe shifting our monthly
activity from all in person to in person every other month with the non in
person months being dedicated to doing more on air activities such as
digital, NTS message handling, etc. This way folks don't have do meetings
on back to back weeks as often and we can do more of "what we would do". We
think it's possible that "meeting overload" may be playing a role in
participation so please, offer your feedback.

Shawn and I will be at the Barstow EOC on the 16th to meet with the 911
folks so any net or similar activity will be run from there. We'd like to
do something that we can incorporate voice, digital, and possibly APRS (if
folks have it on their mobile and are willing to go out). Please offer
ideas and hopefully, we can nail it down at the club meeting Thursday.
