Good morning all. Don't forget. our monthly Auxcomm meetings have changed to
the 3rd Thursday of the month and the location will be at the alternate EOC
at the county Public Safety Building located at 315 Stafford Rd. so, this
month we'll meet on the 16th at 7pm. If you're not familiar with the
location, the directions are below and a map is attached.

 

We'll be on their "turf" and we rely on Calvert Emergency Management for
help with keeping our repeater system up and running and they've recently
gone back to badging/credentialing us. Positive attendance will show them
we're serious about cooperation and participation so let's not risk anything
negative showing up on their radar. Please attend if you can.

 

The plan is to go over the progress on our work station there, take one more
opportunity to cover this year's hurricane plan, and answer any questions
anyone may have so we look forward to seeing you there.

Directions:

Take 231 from Prince Frederick past Collage of Southern Maryland,  make a
right on Stafford Rd., follow Stafford almost to the end and look for the
sign on the right for the detention center and public safety building(if you
end up in front of the recycling center or under the tower, you've gone too
far), turn right into the driveway, the jail will be on your left and the
PSB will be in front of you. Parking should be ample.
