All,
 
I had a total of only three email responses (and one by voice) regarding preferences for either an in-person digital training class or a "do it from home" digital exercise this Wednesday.
 
Of the three responders, two are not available that day (work or out of town).
 
So  ...
 
No in-person meeting this month, BUT we'll try to hold a net on Wednesday evening and practice some digital modes from our own QTH's.  
 
I'm hoping to have Zoom up and available as a way for mutual aid if problems arise.  Backup to that will be the CARA repeater system.  Zoom info will be provided in a later email.
 
Wednesday's plan, starting at 7pm:
 
    * Meet on Zoom, or the 146.985 repeater if Zoom isn't available.
    * Try some MT63-2000L through the CARA repeater system.  Based on previous successful exercises, you can go into either the 444.950 repeater or the 146.985 repeater.
    * Depending on who can play and their locations, try some Winlink P2P either direct or using the K3CAL-1 digipeater in Prince Frederick (145.070).  I checked it this morning and it's up and running. 
    * Try using normal AX-25 packet with a terminal program on your PC to connect to WG3K's BBS  ( CBBBS ) on 145.070, either direct or via our digi.   Once connected, drop a message of some sort into the BBS for N3AE or a selected station of your choice.   BBS info at
