After so many years working on this project, l was so happy to see that it is finally in operation! Thanks for all your hard work (and others too) patience/ dedication and perseverance to make this happen. Hopefully one day I might see it in operation, of course I don’t know if my EOC badge is still any good? Make one feel good when a plan comes together, no matter how long it takes, congratulations to you both.

Our network ports that connect the Public Safety Building EOC to the Barstow tower were activated today by Motorola.   Now all four TM-V71A VHF/UHF radios are working as designed on both voice and data.  Other than the physical layout, the setup at the PSB EOC replicates what we have at the Courthouse EOC.

Note:  The same two radios at the Barstow tower site can be accessed from either the PSB EOC or the Courthouse EOC, but not both at the same time.  Whichever site turns on the radio's front panel first captures the Ethernet link for that radio.

A document is under preparation that explains how to use and maintain the system.  All Calvert AUXCOMM members will receive a copy when it's finished
