[CALV-AUXCOMM] 2024 Hurricane Staffing Plan & AUXCOMM Meetings

All,
 
Last night's AUXCOMM meeting was poorly attended with only four members including myself.   This is a large concern for me as I wonder how many of you will really be willing and ready to deploy if we do have a call-up here in the county or are asked to help support an adjacent county.
 
Perhaps the 3rd Wednesday evening of the month is just a bad day.   Maybe we should meet at a different time and place.  Perhaps for a meal, breakfast or dinner, as an added inducement to attend.
 
Looking for feedback and ideas to re-energize the group.

Andy's presentation last night on severe weather will be posted on our web site soon.
 
I've attached our draft hurricane staffing plan for 2024.  It's partially filled in based on feedback at last night's meeting or by email.  Please let me know which spot you are willing to serve in.   I'd like to have two people in the rover spot for safety purposes.
 
Also, anyone choosing the Home QTH/Relay spot will need to get Calvert WebEOC access credentials via our RACES officer, N3XMZ.
