> UTILITY REPORTING FOR MARYLAND:
> * BGE is continuing to actively monitor any impacts from Hurricane Dorian. At this time, they expect to experience limited sustained winds and gusts on Friday, September 6th. On Wednesday, August 28th, BGE released 31 contractor FTEs and another 59 contractor FTEs on Thursday, August 29th to provide mutual assistance to various utilities including Florida Power and Light, Dominion, Tampa Electric and Duke Energy. As Hurricane Dorian has changed paths, they have continued to allow our contractors to be available to the various utilities that are in need.
> * PE's internal meteorologists have determined that there is no expected impact from Hurricane Dorian in the Potomac Edison service territory. Normal operations will continue. Based on this forecast, Potomac Edison has sent 14 line FTEs to Duke North Carolina to assist with restoration. Meteorologists will continue to monitor, and adjustments will be made if there is a change to the current forecast.
> * PHI continues to track Hurricane Dorian and its potential impact on the Pepco and Delmarva service territories, especially the coastal region which has the potential for strong winds on Friday. PHI is actively monitoring the weather and finalizing plans to prepare for any potential issues. This includes preparing staffing plans and arranging to have personal available to handle any restoration efforts that may be required. Pepco and Delmarva have sent crews (146 employees and contractors) and equipment to assist with restoration in the Carolinas (currently based in Florence SC). Both companies continue to have the necessary resources to support normal operations and potential impact of severe weather.
> * SMECO is prepared for a busy couple of days, and perhaps some flooding. SMECO is not taking any additional staffing actions at this time. SMECO has completed a review of their storm material availability and supplier channels.
> * Choptank is monitoring the storm. They will have Right of Way (ROW) crews (contractor) working in their southern district tomorrow, and ROW crews (contractor) in their northern district on standby. They have not requested mutual assistance from any other cooperative, but do have the ability to shift their crews from one district to another if additional assistance is needed. Once the hurricane passes Maryland, they may send some of their crews to the south for mutual assistance to other cooperatives.

> * Monitor your email for updated PSIP notifications.
> * Call into the Regional Routing Service Hotline in Partnership with US DOT / Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration for traffic and road closure information.

> Remember:
> * Turn on your TV/radio, or check your city/county website every 30 minutes in order to get the latest weather updates and emergency instructions.
> * Charge your cell phone now so you will have a full battery in case you lose power.
> * If you’re not in an area that is recommended for evacuation, plan to stay at home or where you are and let friends and family know where you are.
> * Let first responders do their job. Stay off the roads, beaches, and waterways.
> * Close storm shutters, and stay away from windows. Flying glass from broken windows could injure you.
> * Do not walk, swim, or drive through flood waters. Turn Around. Don’t Drown!
> * Check in with neighbors. If it is safe to do so, check on your neighbors. You may be the help they need right now.
