Just in from MD DHS:
 
Hurricane Dorian is currently projected to remain off the coast when it passes Maryland. This prediction may still cause storm surge / flooding, rain and potentially tropical storm force wind to the Lower Eastern Shore of Maryland. If the storm starts tracking west, Maryland could experience worse impacts, particularly to the Ocean City area.
