Subject: [CALV-AUXCOMM] AUXOMM Meeting on July 16

Our next Calvert AUXCOMM meeting is Tuesday, July 16th, 7:30PM at the Calvert Services Building in Prince Frederick.


The topic for the meeting will be planning and preparations for the 2019 hurricane season.  I'd like to put together a list of volunteers to man the EOC and shelter(s) along with folks who can relieve the first crew.  Plus go over what radio equipment and capabilities will be needed at the shelter, EOC, etc.


The old military adage that even the best plan fails after the first shot is fired is probably still true, but better to have a plan than none at all.
