When you have a chance, please take a look at the latest ARES news at our Calvert AUXCOMM web site, https://auxcomm.k3cal.org/


Read the ARES Plan and take note of the new training requirements.   Many of you will already have had the FEMA training.


For "Level 2" ARES membership, you'll need to complete ARRL’s EC-001 Introduction to Amateur Radio Emergency Communications (a no-cost program) and FEMA  IS-100, IS-200, IS 700, and IS-800.


I need to update the Calvert ARES training folder.  Request that you forward me scanned copies of your older FEMA and ARRL training completion certificates along with any new courses you take.
