The Following Synopsis will be our last weather update to Hurricane
Florence unless the predicted path changes.
Notes from 1130 Weather call Saturday September 15, 2018:
Florence is tracking further west and the threat for Maryland will
primarily be to western Maryland. We can expect less than 1" of rain over
the next 72 hours. Winds could be gusty over the next two three days but
nowhere near tropical storm force winds. Florence will become a
sub-tropical depression by Monday/Tuesday.
The forecast has improved that all other scheduled conference calls have
been canceled. This will be the last weather update on Florence from
Emergency Management but staff will continue to monitor and report as
needed.
I again want to thank every one that responded to my e-mails and being on
the stand by should the need have arose.
This is what we train for and do what we do.
