[CALV-AUXCOMM] HF Net Instead of Meeting on May 15th

The feedback so far is 100% for skipping the face-to-face meeting this month and trying 40M/80M HF simplex instead.


So tomorrow evening, May 15th, we will meet on the CARA 146.985 repeater at 7:30pm.  We'll use the repeater to coordinate HF frequencies.   I'll call the net on the repeater at 7:30 and once we have everyone checked in, I'll try to find a clear spot, starting with 40 meter SSB.   After the 40M experiment, we'll move to 80 meter (or 75 meter) SSB and see how that works.   The 2M repeater will be used throughout for coordination.


I've completed the summary of our 10M simplex experiment on April 26.   The results will be posted on the AUXCOMM web site (you will have to log on to see it).   Participants on the 10M test will get the summary directly in a separate email.
