I will not have 80. Space restriction for that length.

I have both bands and will be wherever you need. Practice seems more useful that face to face at this point to me.

All,
Our scheduled AUXCOMM meeting is next Tuesday, May 15, 7:30pm at the Calvert Services Building.
If the AUXCOMM members would prefer, rather than having a face-to-face meeting on the 15th, we could continue our "alternatives to 2 meters" experiment by trying NVIS communications on 40 or 80 meters.
I'm not sure who currently has 40 or 80 SSB capabilities so please respond with your desired (net vs meeting) by Monday evening. I'll go with the majority response and send out an email on the final plans.
It may be challenging to find a clear frequency on 40 or 80 but it's worth a try. If we decide to try 80 or 40, we may use the CARA 2M repeater for frequency coordination.
Use whatever 80 or 40 M antenna you currently have up. No need to toss up a NVIS unless you want to.
I'll have the summary results of our recent 10M and 6M simplex experiments prior to the meeting and will email to the participants. I apologize for not getting it out sooner.
Shawn
