See info below.  Feel free to participate the drill if you are Winlink equipped on either VHF/UHF or HF.   The 440 linking system has a node on 447.975  offset -5mhz, PL 167.9 that I can hear and hit from my QTH should you wish to listen or participate in the voice side of the drill.

Subject: PRGE 2nd Quarter Hospital Drill Iivite

GM MDC Section Emergency Coordinators,
 
You are invited to join in the subject drill this Thursday at 2000 on April 5, 20018.  This will be held on the CMRG 440 Linking System, courtesy of Bryan N3ST.  NCS/IC should be Wanda, KA3AHI.
 
This drill is in preparation for a major five-county Hospital Region V Mass Surge Exercise May 3.  There is no Plan being written by us as in past PRGE ARES Drill, because we will not know what will be expected of on on May 3.
 
However, it doesn't preclude us from doing a few things on our own.  We know email messages will be required, so this Drill will continue our focus on Winlink 2000.  Table 1 below is a list of PRGE ARES Hospital Winlink Operators assigned to the venues listed.
 
If you dabble in Winlink, give it a try.  If you personally are not a Winlink operator, forward this to any ARES members who are and ask them to take part.  This not a requirement on your part to participate, just a opportunity.  Sign the email with call and ARES county/state.
 
Send a Winlink email to any of the call signs listed. The message can be anything you'd like.  Ask a question or two; ask that the message be forwarded to another on the list. . .whatever. The point is, in addition to what we will be doing within PRGE, it's an opportunity for the rest of our ARES Team in the Section. 
 
No reply necessary, as I have boat load of email work to do for the upcoming Drill.  But if you feel it is necessary. . . . .
