[CALV-AUXCOMM] Wednesday AUXCOMM Net in Lieu of Tuesday Meeting

This month, rather than having a meeting, we'll hold a net on Wednesday, May 10th at 7:30 pm on the 146.985 repeater.  The Wednesday date is necessary since Charles County is still using our repeater for their Tuesday evening nets.


We'll use voice communications to coordinate attempts to make packet connections on 145.750 MHz, either direct or via digipeaters.  This might be problematic for anyone that uses the same radio for voice and packet, so if necessary we can move to the 444.950 repeater for voice as needed.


I'll be net control.   We'll begin with a voice net and then move to packet, using voice as needed to coordinate connections and troubleshoot issues.


At the May 4th CARA meeting, we got the OK to move the K3CAL-1 digipeater at Mt Hope from the roof mounted antenna to an unused 2M antenna on the tower.  This should significantly improve coverage of the K3CAL-1 station.   If all goes well, this change will occur on Wednesday before the net.
