Shawn,
I am out of the area for the duration of the storm.
Dave Hardy, as Vice President of the Drum Point Radio Club, will be in charge of the southern link, KB3TGF radio station.

Subject: [CALV-AUXCOMM] Tropical Storm Hermine Planning

All,

The latest NWS prediction is for a higher probability (30-40%) of tropical force winds in our area.

See http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/text/refresh/MIATCPAT4+shtml/021453.shtml? and

http://www.nhc.noaa.gov/refresh/graphics_at4+shtml/153527.shtml?tswind120#contents

In preparation for possible activation for tropical storm Hermine, please respond by email with the following information:

    * List of equipment you are prepared to deploy with if requested. This means a list of radios, antennas and power sources along with a summary of capabilities. For example: 2M and 440M FM, HF SSB, HF Winlink (WINMOR), 2M Winlink (Packet).

    *
Answer to the following question. Are you willing to (1) deploy with said equipment within Calvert County, (2) deploy outside Calvert County (let's say within 50 miles) and if so, for how long, or (3) either.
We will open a short net at 10:00 am local, Saturday morning on the 146.985 repeater to collect this information if it was not already provided by email, and to assess further activities if needed.

You should be preparing now.

Regards
Shawn - N3AE
