Prediction models now have Matthew turning further west which is not good for Florida or the Carolina's. Local impact still uncertain.

LONG TERM /FRIDAY THROUGH TUESDAY/...
High pressure moves off the New England coast on Friday as Hurricane Matthew moves north-northeast from the southeast coast.
An upper level trough pushes into the Mid-Atlantic during the
weekend, but its speed and amplitude will play a major role in the
track of Matthew as it approaches the Mid-Atlantic region. So,
depending on how close or far away from the coast Matthew tracks,
is the type of weather we will experience... therefore, specific
impacts are unknown at this moment. Once the trough moves away
from our region, a high pressure builds over our region for Monday
and Tuesday.
