The September training meeting discussed the use flmsg, in conjunction with fldigi (NBEMS) and RMS Express (Winlink) to originate different standardized forms in a bandwidth-efficient manner. We utilized the Calvert Amateur Radio Association (CARA) station at Mount Hope Community Center for training. The training was successful although we ran out of time to do as much training as we would like. A net is being planned to handle additional training.

Preparation for this year's SET was completed with target areas for observations and stations participation being planned. Several stations went on to test their APRS equipment as well. Unfortunately, it is expected that the SET will be cancelled due to an actual flooding and wind event.
