The Office of Emergency Management Has Started Procedures for possible Call
up of RACES members.  We are in

* Non-Alert Readiness Status*          " *All Department and Agencies
develop a staffing plan for their Department and Agency in the event that
we have to staff the EOC in response to the storm."*

* "Those Departments and Agencies with Roles and responsibilities in
opening and Staffing a Shelter please review your plans and prepare those
resources necessary to accomplish task"*


The ACS Team leadership should Start preparing and establishing Staffing
for Shelter, Health Department, DPPOA and other possible locations on a
rotational Shift if need or as needed.  Time TBD

0700 - 1900 hrs day shift  <RED>

1900 - 0700 hrs night shift <BLUE>


As of 2000 hrs hurricane Joaquin Reached a Category 2 on the Saffir-Simpson
Hurricane Wind Scale.

we are expected to receive 4-6 inches of rain over the next several days
that coupled with strong winds may topple trees and take down some power
lines, this storm is a prelude to Joaquin.

The impact and severity of Joaquin are yet to be determined estimates and
models are all over the place at present. Should this storm impact us it
will be around Sunday pm.
Again these are just projections and All Should STAY tuned to Weather
alerts and the Repeater.

Take necessary precautions for yourself , family and home.
