This works very well for us down here in Calvert County we are the smallest County and the state of Maryland. We like to keep it simple stupid this works very well for us.

You might want to try it out sometime it streamlines a lot of the activities between REAS , ARES and Calvert Amateur Radio Association Inc.

Eric is doing an excellent job of keeping us informed about Ares. And bill does the same for REAS. While we're preparing for ARES we also prepare for RESA.

Like I said simple stupid.

PS

My opinion only.

I'm sure Eric will respond to this. But the simple answer is no. It is a combining of ARES and RACES under one heading. There was so much overlap of membership, it didn't make sense to have 2 communications streams for info sharing.

Since we changed our name to AUXCOMM I've had auxcomm.k3cal.org and

races.k3cal.org redirect to ares.k3cal.org. Tonight I swapped auxcomm and

ares around so that the main web address is auxcomm.k3cal.org. The redirects

should work forever except that the certificates for ares.k3cal.org will
expire
on November 11th. This will likely mean that you'll get a warning when
you
try to go there.

Please update your links to point to
https://auxcomm.k3cal.org. Your login
information and the data contained on
the website has not changed.

73,
Eric WG3K
