[CALV-ARES] Pre-Alert: Winter Weather Sunday night into Monday

Greetings and welcome to the weekend.  If you've been watching the weather forecasts for the next few days you might have noticed the two bad words that should never be seen together:  FREEZING and RAIN.  While it looks like it will be a mostly rain event, the NWS is still calling for at least the possibility of freezing rain coming down on Sunday night into Monday morning.

This is a good time to make sure that your backup batteries are charged, you backup antennas are available, and that you have a good book to read while you stay indoors.

I don't think we'll have an ARES activation for this event but I want everyone thinking about it now.  As time gets closer (likely tomorrow evening) I'll send out an updated bulletin with regards to the weather.  As always, monitor the 146.985 repeater when you can.
