[CALV-ARES] Fwd: AARC HSMM-Mesh Presentation

Good deal Karl,

Going to see the presentation at Anne Arundel meeting.
No nodes here, need to find new source for routers; eBay sellers have caught on and prices for best version models are as high as when they were new! Still want to see, maybe I could build antennas so Routers would be more affordable (have some comcast dishes and tin cans! Haha).
May be able to talk at ARES meeting. Line of sight is pretty limited in most of Calvert, unless antenna very high.

As advertised, they automatically connected to all the other nodes there (except for Jesse's, I'll explain later).

(If you need help, ask me) Take external antennas if you have any, even if you cannot yet connect to your node (don't have feed line).

His nodes did not mesh with ours because he had configured his differently, since the meshers in PGARC were experimenting with a different setup. After we figured out what was wrong, as quick fix made it work. As a result of that situation, I expect that they will reconsider that configuration.
