Yesterday RO, Bill Hackett/N3XMZ and I attended the Planning Meeting in
Annapolis for this year's Cystic Fibrosis Cycle Event.  They will be sending
us the new route maps & Rest Stops so we can plan our comms.  

 

This year's Cystic Fibrosis Cycle-for-Life is being held on Sunday, October
19.  Mark your calendar!

 

Your support of Public Services events not only help organizations with
needed communications such as this one to raise funds for Cystic Fibrosis
research.  Your time and equipment used helps the ARRL to show the value
hams provide for our neighbors and communities.  Public Services that hams
provide are documented in order to provide to Government agencies from the
ARRL.  For example, the FCC, allocates frequency bands based upon the
reasons those bands are used.  The ARRL provides politicians the data so we
can enjoy this hobby. 

 

More information to follow on the CF Cycle-for Life.  Reminder again to mark
your calendars now for Sunday, October 19.  We need many volunteers for this
event.  We need YOU.
