[CALV-ARES] ALERT: National Weather Service NOAA Shutdown Information

John McCall, April, and I plan to set up at KB3TGF (Drum Pt. Radio Club) using 2 meters voice only (not digital) on Saturday morning at 0800 hrs.  Friday evening I will be available from home on 2 meters voice only and later on Saturday.

The NOAA Forecast page is still up and it says it will stay up during the shutdown, see  http://www.weather.gov/forecastmaps 


REMINDER :  I STILL NEED RSVP'S FROM STATIONS PLANNING TO PARTICIPATE IN THE SET THIS FRIDAY EVENING AND SATURDAY. 


So far, only one op has responded to my earlier RSVP request email.
