If CALV ARES Stations could monitor 447.300 repeater in CHAS for the Girl Scout Event on Saturday would be greatly appreciated. Read further down for approximate times.

Dennis,
Here's the info from Dawn on the event in case you need it. The FRS radios sound like a great idea, please bring them, we will have 45 minutes we will have to fill.

Rob

CCARC,
Here's the details on the Girl Scout event we are supporting this Saturday, 4 May. We plan to meet at the camp at 8:00am and start setting up. Any and all help is welcome, we will also need a few people who are out and about to give us some QSO's on the 443.700 repeater.Based on the times below, you can see when we will be active on the radio and will need a few "out stations".
Thanks and 73,
Rob

Just checking in and giving you the address and a little more info for Saturday’s zombie adventure with the Girl Scouts!
The address for Camp Winona is 6875 Winona Place, Hughesville, MD. You should be able to GPS it. If you want more specific directions, I can provide them. Once you get near the end of the trip, Scout Camp Road is going to go for about 1 mile or so and get kind of narrow so be prepared for it to go down to what feels like one lane. Camp Winona will be on the right about a mile down that road.
We have you scheduled to talk to 48 girls from 9:30 to 10:25, you will have a break from 10:25 to 11:10, and then you will have 16 girls from 11:20 to 12:00 and 16 girls from 12:15 to 1:00. At 1:00 they will break for lunch and you will have seen all the girls. Because of fitting you in for the first half of the day only, we combined three groups of girls in that first talk. The rotations are 45 minutes long with a 10-minute walk time to the next rotation.
We will be checking girls in between 7:45 and 8:45 and starting with a flag up ceremony and talking to them as a whole group from 9:00 to 9:20 before we send them off to the first rotations to begin at 9:30.
The other rotations in case you are interested are archery, first aid, shelter, fire and food, and paracord bracelet making. It’s going to be a fun day. Don’t hesitate to ask if you have further questions. My number again is 443-404-1378 (cell).
