I'm not sure how many can hit the 146.91 repeater in Tyson's corner, but I 
encourage you to put this out to your membership to give the net a try. 
This is a repeater that will be used between MDC and VA sections if an event 
involves both sections. With the inauguration coming up, it would be a good 
thing to know which hams in MDC can act as liaison between MDC and VA on 
that repeater and for instance, the 147.105 Central Region Net. 

Please forward to SEC Jim Montgomery, WB3KAS, the names and callsigns of 
those hams who are able to check into the net so he will be know who is able 
to be a liaison. Jack Gunther, KB3KKY, the EC for DC generally runs the 
net. 

Hopefully in 2013 we can begin rebuilding the NCAC which, in the past, 
consisted of the ARES groups surrounding DC. We used to hold a training day 
every six months alternating between Northern VA and MDC with interesting 
topics, classes for ICS-100 and 700, etc. 

Anyway, please try to get some of your members to check in this Sunday. 
Inauguration is on Jan 21.
