Attached is the results of the 2nd Quarter Hospital Drill Report prepared by
Wanda Montgomery KA3AHI, MDC SEC. As you can read we can add more stations
representing CALV. To increase our capabilities CALV ARES Stations with RMS
mode we will be implementing sending HF and/or VHF RMS WINMOR messages to
the EC (me) by second Friday monthly. This will assure our WINMOR mode is
operational for CALV ARES WINMOR Stations throughout the County.
Furthermore, we all should be exercising with the MDC SEC, Mike Liller
N7NMS, on 3rd Friday monthly test of WINMOR.

Subject: ARES Emergency Preparedness Coalition Second Quarter Drill 4/2/13
Good evening All,
Thank you so much for making this a successful event. ARES appreciates your
support and dedication.
At the ARES after action meeting on Monday everyone agreed that the use of
three net control stations was very positive. It was agreed that stating
"This is a Drill" at the beginning and the end of the transmission was the
way to go. And, if your transmission becomes lengthy, once midway should be
done as well. Don't forget the FCC ten minute rule, your call sign.
We are happy to report the following stats:
30 checkins to the pre-drill 2 meter net.
32 players participated in the drill.
Five counties, Calvert, Charles, Frederick, PRGE and Talbot participated in
the drill.
Voice, RMS Packet, HF WinMor, 3rd party traffic, auto patch and the Doc
Vault were exercised.
Nine repeaters were used.
One relay station was established.
One representative from PGC Health Department participated in the drill.
Everything considered it was a great success.
Dennis, N3QHC, EC, please pass this report to Bill, N3XMZ, RO, Jim, K3UGA
and Steve, N3IDX.
Bob, KB3KOW, please pass to Kyle, KB3QIN.
73,
Wanda
