1.     Ham Radio in Hollywood

Amateur on New TV - ABC, 8PM, Tuesday, "Last Man Standing".  The producer of
the show is a ham and has made the main character a ham.  One episode soon
will have Tim Allen operating a radio on 40-meters.

 

2.    House-Passed Payroll Tax Bill Includes Amateur Radio Study.  The study
required by subsection (a) shall include - a review of the importance of
emergency amateur radio service communications relating to disasters, severe
weather, and other threats to lives and property in the United States.
