well up where you are wayne there really aint to much up there. i mean there
are alot of repeaters up there but ill bet that there is more repeaters in the
south-western california then there is in the rest of the state. if you have a
radio on 2, 220, or 440 listening to a repeater you better have the radio in
tone squelch. i listen to our local 2 meter repeater on 146.79 and if i dont
have it in tone squelch i will hear 2 more other repeaters in the background.
one from long beach and one from im not to sure where. there is such a huge
amount of repeaters and remote bases here in southern cal that it gets really
crazy.

and finaly here is the other thing. there are a huge amount of remotes and
repeaters here that arnt coordinated. you would be supprised. remotes are the
worst.
